Nothing has changed

Thirty years after fair employment legislation was first introduced, that Catholics are still twice as likely to be unemployed than Protestants is a disgrace.

In fact we report today (Monday) that Catholic women are three-and-a-half times more likely to be on the dole than Protestant women. These are shocking figures in themselves, never mind coming 11 years after the IRA ceasefire.

Is it any wonder the British government didn't want these figures released?
