Where are all those who were so outraged by Pastor James McConnell? They took to the streets in their thousands last year after one 77-year-old's sermon to his own followers in his own church.
They haven't got anywhere near as hot and bothered about the massacre of 12 people by Islamic fundamentalists in Paris last week.
Yes, they go through the motions of condemnation but there's no fire in their bellies. The words of one pensioner cleric led to a totally disproportionate response from our chattering classes and community do-gooders.
The murderous actions of Islamic fascists haven't drawn a fraction of that ire.
For the record, I disagree with just about everything Pastor McConnell stands for. I oppose Christian fundamentalism without reservation.
But, unfortunately, most others up in arms day and daily about the God squad here are totally gutless when it comes to challenging Islamic fundamentalism. It's a case of 'Ssh, don't mention sharia law'.
The attack on Charlie Hebdo didn't happen in a vacuum. Islam today ranks as the most reactionary religion in the world. It tolerates no criticism.
Christian nutters tried to ban a 'blasphemous' play in Newtownabbey last year but at least the writer and director didn't get death threats.
Dutch film-maker Theo van Gogh was shot dead, stabbed and partially decapitated for making a film criticising some of the Qur'an's teachings about women.
Write a novel berating Buddha or joking about Jesus, and you won't lose sleep. Mock Muhammad and you could lose your life.
Burn the Bible and you'll probably be picketed. Torch the Qur'an and there'll be dozens of (totally unconnected) people murdered in retaliation.
We don't hammer Islam, like we do Christianity, because we fear being labelled racist.
This is nonsense because a religion isn't a race. As a system of beliefs claiming power over others, it's as deserving of criticism as any political ideology.
By appeasing, ignoring or excusing the human rights' abuses of Islamic fundamentalists we are acting shamefully.
We denounce the DUP over gay blood bans and same sex marriage. But homosexuality is a crime under Islamic law. Indeed, Islamic scholars have debated whether gay people should be burned or stoned to death.
We're infuriated if our golf clubs don't want women members. But we stay silent on Islamic practices which mean women effectively go through life veiled and chained.
Does anyone ever ask Islamic figures in Belfast about the gender apartheid in their places of worship with women banned from praying in the same room as men?
If such a situation existed in the Metropolitan Tabernacle, it would be headline news.
It's time we stopped turning a PC eye away from the injustices and human rights' abuses carried out in the name of Islam.
